ASA Climate Action Committee

The Aberdeen Society of Architects put a call out to RIAS members in the Chapter area (Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire & East Moray) asking for members to join a working group to focus efforts to address issues relating to sustainability in architecture and the built environment.

This group quickly formed a mandate, which resulted in the renaming of the group to the climate action committee, as the focus of the group was clearly to help address the threat of climate change. The current mandate is included below and will be revised as the committee progresses and evolves.

This page will include links to other resources to create a library that will make action on climate change easily accessible to architects. The ASA Climate Action Committee will also be arranging CPD events, publications and seminars/webinars aimed at the public as well as the profession. The aim is to have these hosted online to make them accessible to all in future.
