Niall Murphy Talk on the Work of Sir John James Burnet FRSE FRIBA RSA RA (1857 – 1938)

Following the recent successful completion of essential repair works to the Category A Listed Gardner Memorial Church in Brechin (1896 – 1900), principally funded through the Grants for Places of Worship scheme previously administered and supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Historic Environment Scotland, the Church has arranged for Niall Murphy, Deputy Director of the Glasgow Heritage Trust, to give a talk on the work of Sir John James Burnet FRSE FRIBA RSA RA (1857 – 1938), one of Scotland’s and Glasgow’s best known architects.

The talk will commence at 6.00pm in the Gardner Memorial Church, 49A Southesk Street, Brechin, DD9 6AW on Wednesday 23rd October 2019 and is open to all. Attendance is free and refreshments will be served.

This is an open invitation to what will be a very enlightening evening.
